Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro and José Diniz Aveiro welcomed Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro into the world on February 5, 1985 in Madeira, Portugal. Hugo, Cristiano's older brother, and Elma and Liliana Cátia, his older sisters, are his siblings. His father, who was motivated by former US President Ronald Reagan, gave him the name.
It was also on the island of Madeira where Cristiano first developed his footballing prowess. Cristiano flew to Indonesia when the tsunami struck South East Asia to aid those in need. To aid in donating money to charity, he auctioned off a few items. He intends to get involved in more charitable endeavours in the future since he thinks that being a celebrity will make it easier for him to ask for help from people.
